About me and my dolls

My name is Marta and welcome to my website!
I luckily discovered Waldorf dolls when my little girl was born. It was a love from the first sight. I dreamt about making one of them for my daughter.
I waited for a long time wondering if I’m up to such task. Waldorf dolls seemed like a Holy Grail for me back then. I wanted to take the task seriously.
There are plenty of tutorials on the internet about how to make waldorf doll. I’ve read what I could but it still turned out that making one is quite a challenge. I was confident that to make a nice looking doll you have to know some tricks and have a lot of experience.
So, as soon as the opportunity arrived I took a waldorf doll sewing course with Mrs Agnes from Lalinda. And it had been a real pleasure. I’ve learnt a lot. Many of the things I saw, it would take me a long time to figure out myself. And it was a real pleasure to see how a professional doll maker works.
Since then I have been making dolls with the same passion. Each doll is enormous fun, another challenge, each is an interesting project. Fabrika Lalka represents what I imagine to be a perfect job: possibility of creation, personal development and joy with what you do.
What is most important, I can make those beautiful dolls for my daughter. I love to watch how she reacts when she sees their little faces. She must really like them, because she smiles and hugs them close. And it doesn’t matter if they are finished or not – she loves them all equally.
